The Line of Stones at the top of South Hill

On the ledges, or terrace area, on the top of South Hill I found another interesting piece of stone work designed to work with Mother Earth. There is a series of 6 stones aligned in a straight line about 60-80 feet in length. Each stone marked the beginning of an energy line. Each energy line went directly to the right (south) from the picture. No energy line connected the stones.

The pictures below show my dogs on the first three energy lines beginning from the west. The remaining three energy lines are behind the black dog, Lucy.

The stones are all of good size and embedded in the ground. Here is closer up of Pepper and Lucy on two of the stones.

Just to the right of Lucy and Pepper is the remains (not quite there) of a large vortex of energy. One of what I call Cosmic Prana, because it is more consciousness than energy. Vortices of Cosmic Prana form where much prayer/ceremony/ritual/meditation has taken place. The formation of the energy vortex tells me that this was a sacred formation or structure. To read about Energy Vortices go to: http://www.jubileeinitiative.org/energyvortices.html

My dowsing rods also indicate that the three stones may have been part of a structure. A structure that goes about 20 feet to the right of the dogs and includes the energy vortex. The remaining 3 stones were also part of the structure in some way.

The question is:
Were the stones placed on the energy lines to create the structure?
Or
Did the energy lines form in response to the stones, structure and prayers and meditations that took place in the structure? In other words were they drawn there by the intentions of what took place within the structure?

More Mounds

Friends,
While on top of South Hill on Saturday August 22, 2009 I came across these gems. All of the stone mounds are placed on earth chakras (energy vortices) as I have been writing about for some time. When you cover an earth chakra earth prana is prevented from entering it. This helps charge the air and I believe were done for spiritual purposes. Today's findings are not only further confirmation of this but they show incredible ingenuity.

David Robinson believes that the various stone mounds found on South Hill are attributed to the Hopewell Adena http://www.crookedlakereview.com/articles/101_135/103spring1997/103robinson.html His friend Stone Pile Whisperer has been cataloguing many of them
http://hi-torstone.blogspot.com/. I agree with Robinson. Given that the stone mounds are thousands of years old they are in great condition for their age.

All of the stone piles were located at the top of South Hill not far from the parking lot area on a series of ledges close to where I first found out that stone mounds were placed on earth chakras. I found over a dozen mounds covering approximately 100 earth chakras. (To learn more about earth chakras: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFNzglbm16o the flow of prana http://www.jubileeinitiative.org/pranaflow.html .)

The Pictures
The mound in the first picture is on 3 earth. The two dogs in the picture (white-Pepper, Black-Lucy) are sitting on earth chakras. The notebook is located on a natural vortex of Cosmic prana and is a strong indication that the mounds were used for spiritual purposes. A vortex of cosmic prana forms when spiritual practices such as meditation, prayer, ritual and or ceremony are practiced at a location.

The second picture shows a series of a stone mound covering 7 earth chakras (Lucy and Pepper are on two of them.) What is interesting, ingenious, about this mound is that it is circular in form and the center is empty. This has the affect of creating a natural vortex in the center. WOW! The next picture demonstrates this better.
The last picture shows Pepper sitting in the center of a stone mound located on 4 earth chakras. A natural vortex has formed in the center.

Vision Questing
Later at home while I was watching a movie I broke into tears. I mean serious tears, as I begged God to give me the strength to do what he/she wants of me. It was powerful moment. I believe that I was picking up on the thoughts and intentions of the many people that had spent hours or even days praying for a vision, or communion with God/Spirit. Thought forms can linger for a long time at a place, particularly if done by spiritual people in a very emotional and fervent way. I call the thoughts that attach to a place geograpic samskaras http://www.jubileeinitiative.org/samskaras.html and they can be a poweful aid in faciltating spiritual experiences. That is why I always try and guage geographic samskaras in surveying sacred sites.

Combine this experience with the several cosmic prana vortexes that I found and it is clear that the covering of earth chakras was done for spiritual reasons; most likely to what we now call "vision questing."

Thanks
I went to South Hill hoping that I would get some sort of confirmation about whether I should write up a report about the stone work done by the Mound builders at South Hill . I have been told.

PS This would be a great place to go vision questing and to connect with the divine. Magnificent.

New Mound Found at South Hill

Last Saturday I followed my dowsing rods to the Northeast part of South HIll and found the most interesting stone mound. It is about 15 by 20 feet in size. I am pretty confident that it is a Hopewell Adena Mound like the others we have found on South HIll because it is situated on 3 earth chakras. As I noted previously NY state archealogist felt that the numerous mounds on top of South Hill were made by the Hopewell and Adena.

The stone mound is located on a steep part of the moutain so it is highly unlikely that any farmer made the pile by clearing the area. It strategic location on 3 earth chakras also gives credence that it is like the other mounds made by the mound builders. As the pictures show it is located in a thick thicket that has not seen humankind for some time. Most of the stones are flat and it is clear that whomever constructed it was intentionally making something. Most likely the structure was flat on the top as Ritchie noted with the other mounds. It may be that the mounds were terraced in three steps. One of the pictures shows my dog Pepper on what may have been the top terrace.

All said it is a pretty remarkable find. Do not be swayed by the broken look as this pile of stones was constructed thousands of years ago. The thick thicket around it has served to protect it from intruders. The pictures do not do it justice to it and does not show the sharp incline it is situated on.

I did not have enough space to manuveur to take a better picture to show the true scope of the mound or how it is situated on a steep embankment.

My dog Pepper is on what appears to be the top terrace of a terraced mound or the last remaining flat-top.
