Memorial Day Weekend 2020

Below are some pictures of a survey we did Memorial Day weekend in the Brink Hill area.
Manitou Stone

September 25, 2019--Part 1

I had a chance to get back to High Tor for some exploring and meditating on sacred rock piles.

I visited the lookout on the herd path to climb South Hill.

As noted in a post years ago The Ledges, Marked Energy Lines, Fare ye well--May 11, 2017 Visit this area has always been dear to me:

Ever since I began coming here a decade ago the tree served as a marker: a location with a beautiful view and a reminder that most of the climbing was behind you.
Below is a picture I took in the winter of 2008. Pepper is sitting on the tree with his winter coat on. An orb next to him.

I remember stopping here one Labor Day weekend to take in the view. As I looked out I saw what I thought were three very large orbs on the other side of the gully. Upon closer inspection I realized that they were swarms monarch butterflies--apparently beginning their migration to Mexico.
The sad thing is that since that picture was taken wind turbines have been placed on a hill in the distance.

Exploring the Keeper's Area
I spent the bulk of my time exploring the Keeper's Area. Below are some pictures of the stone structures that I found.

The picture above is of a stone mound with two dimpled, or depressed areas. As you can see it is not in good shape.

The picture above shows a manitou stone that was part of the pile. It is the upright triangular moss shaped stone.

I also found a large pile of rubble that covered a couple of Earth Chakras pictured below

September 25, 2019--Part 2

The most interesting collection of stone structures I found were on a steep embankment next to a ravine. It looked like a stone wall in many ways which caused me to initially dismiss it as such. However, I could feel the charged atmosphere of the Earth Prana (Life Force, Orgone, chi...) in my anja chakra in the center of my forehead.. So there was something to this collection.

It was also the many manitou stones in the area as the one pictured below that told me it was a sacred area of stone. Notice the stone placed vertically in the ground below.

Below is another view of the Manitou Stone now looking uphill. Notice the tiered mound in the background. It is reminiscent of the 4-tiered mound. The area was rather steep and treacherous located next to a ravine.

Below is a closeup of the tiered stone mound.

The large flat stone on top of the tiered mound was too much to pass up so I meditated on it. See
Below

A view downhill (below) gives a glimpse of how steep the area was. Notice another Manitou Stone (upright stone) on the right side of another stone pile in the lower center of the picture. You can see a ravine dug out by water on the right side. There was another one on the left hand side.

There there pile above (see below).

You could certainly argue that all I found was a stone wall. But there were so many Manitou Stones in the area as the one pictured below  that you have to think the stone structures were sacred.

It was another wonderful day at this divine place.

Thanks, God.

Labor Day--Brink Hill

I went to Brink Hill the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend and hiked the Finger Lakes Trail and checked up on some sated areas.

I did not find any stone mounds but did find lots of Manitou Stones along the trail. Here are a few pictures.

I even found manitous on the trail as noted by the pictures below that include my dowsing rods. Unfortunately, I left my good rods at home and had to rely on my original narly old pair that I keep in my car.

I stopped and visited the two area with Fields of Consciousness along the FLT (pages 320-321  Sacred Sites in North Star Country: Places in Greater New York State (PA,OH,NJ,CT,MA,VT,ONT) That Changed the World))
Unfortunately, the vibe for the place on page 320 has diminished.)

I ran into a fellow named Gary who told me that there were lots of stone mounds on the high point of Brink Hill. When I went there I found none.

I did find lots of large boulders marking energy formations and manitous.

Even though I did not find any stone mounds it was an enjoyable and informative day. It also maintained the tradition of visiting High Tor on Labor Day Weekend.

Sacred Sites Update--Part II High Tor Labor Day 2017--The Large Dimpled Mound and more

Since I had poked and prodded on my way to the large dimpled mound I did not have much time left before nightfall. I decided to head back towards the Finger Lakes Trail. On the way up my dowsing rods had indicated that there were some stone mounds closeby; but found nothing.

As I walked to the Finger Lakes Trail I picked up some beer cans. Soon my rods where indicating a covered Earth Chakra and stone mounds up ahead. If you are unfamiliar with Earth Chakras or have not read my previous posts see my YouTube video--Earth Chakras--Vortexes of Energy Circulation - YouTube

I was very pleased to find the following; a large stone covering an Earth Chakras and marked Energy Lines, several Manitou Stones, and upright Stones.

A large Prayer Stone (boulder) covers an Earth Chakra, Its vortex is located below the boulder at the intersection of my Trekking pole. My Trekking Poles mark the two Energy Lines in the ground below that whisk away the Life Force/Prana/Chi/ Orgone.
Pepper is lying in the hole, or indention next to the Prayer Stone covering the Earth Chakra.

Notice how the path Energy Line emanating from the Earth Chakra below the Prayer Stone are marked with stone.
Again stones mark the other Energy Line.

Wow. A Manitou Stone Marks the intersection of two Energy Lines (Trekking Poles) close to the Prayer Stone covering the Earth Chakra.

About 75-100 feet away from the Prayer Stone marking the intersection of numerous Energy Lines.  My trekking poles trace out two of them. Look closely and you may be able to make out a few tiny upright stones marking the Energy Lines.

My poles trace out a few of the many other Energy Lines intersecting at the  large stone.

It was getting close to dark and I had to move fast to get back to my car.

It was a great day and I learned much.

I would like to thank Janice Carr and particularly photographer Peter Shell who has been with me for every survey of the Ledges--concentrating, contorting his body to get the best angle and waiting for the right light to take photos. In a way they pushed me, and challenged me to learn more about the stone mounds that we were photographing--the detail, the skill, knowledge and love put into creating them.

Secondly, it was not until I started to clean up the area and pick up beer cans that I found the stone structures pictured above. Coincidence? Hardly!. There is a protocol for visiting sacred sites that I talk about in several places in Sacred Sites in North Star Country. I strongly encourage you to read it. Don't be like a busload of foreign tourists with cameras in hand photographing everything. Imagine waking up and finding people traipsing your home with cameras in hand snapping everything in sight, barraging you with questions, poking and prodding everything. How would you feel?

As you can tell I am not an advocate for going on a hunt for Nature Spirits. Let them be, they will be in touch if they like. Don't be like a foreign tourist!!!!

My journey did not end there. For several hours after I tried to go to sleep I had wild and colorful visions when I closed my eyes. In fact my first few hours of sleep where anything but restful as the energy and consciousness of HIgh Tor nourished me with all sorts of visual delights.

Before I went to sleep I was reading Michael Harner's The Way of the Shaman. Perhaps I was influenced by his description of the visions he had after ingesting Guayusa (an exotic Ecuadorian tea), kailua, ayahuasca,,,,

But I had ingested nothing, no exotic foods/drugs/poisons.  It was nothing but Mother Earth's Energies and essences and the imprints of the many who have been coming to sacred High Tor for millennia. It was that what gave me such wonderful experiences--no chemicals were necessary.

I encourage you all to visit High Tor and experience its bounty. At some point my work will be recognized and the solitude of this divine place will be lost. So visit soon.

I leave you with my description of High Tor in Sacred Sites in North Star Country;

Imagine if you could go back in time 2,000, or even 3,000 years, or more, to when the mound builders inhabited much of the Eastern United States. Imagine if you could visit one of their sacred sites and feel the charged atmosphere of their spiritual practices as you sat next to one of their mounds. Can you feel the chills running up and down your spine as you cry for a vision and tap into the collective consciousness of the thousands that have been here centuries before you? Feel their thoughts, as they help elevate your consciousness, bring you closer to the Great Spirit, open up lines of communication to other worlds, and give you visions while healing you.”

Ledges Mound #7, Marked Energy Line, Manitou Stone

A video of Ledges Area Survey, Stone Mound #7, has been posted on YouTube. We are in the process of cataloguing the stone structures at the Ledges Area of High Tor.

Because the Ledges Area contains numerous Earth Chakras, and the bulk of stone mounds are located over Earth Chakras you might wish to first see a short video I put together a few years back on Earth Chakras.
Earth Chakras--Vortexes of Energy Circulation

This video looks at stone mound #7 that is in fair condition. It marks two main Energy Lines one of which passes through a Manitou Stone, or upright stone buried in the earth. One Main Energy Lines contains 2 Earth Chakras and the 2 acompanying  offshoot Energy Lines perpendicular to it in the earth below. The other has 3 Earth Chakras and 3 offshoot energy Lines. In this video I trace out one of the marked main Energy Lines.

It is an incredible demonstration of the workmanship ancient cultures; even though leaves block your view, much can be gleaned. This is the second in a series of video's of our survey of Ledges. Thanks to Peter Shell and Janice Carr for their help. REMEMBER IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VIBE!

Ledges Mound #6, Energy Vortex, Manitou Stone, Earth Chakras

A video of Ledges Area Survey, Stone Mound #6, has Been Posted on YouTube. We are in the process of cataloguing the stone structures at the Ledges Area of High Tor.

Earth Chakras--Vortexes of Energy Circulation

This video looks at stone mound #6 which is basically a pile of rubble; but as you trace out the two energy lines underneath the Earth Chakra's vortex much is revealed. You see how the energy lines were traced out and connected with Manitou stones. There are also two Natural Vortices, or Energy Vortices, which indicate how the Ledges Area is a very holy area.

Brink Hill Election Day 2016 Survey Part 5--Mantiou Stone with Stone Spokes

As I progressed in, the Land of Plenty for marked Spirit Lines, my interest in them began to diminish because they were all over the places. Then I found an interesting Manitou, or upright stone.

What was unusual about this upright stone was that it not only marked the Intersection of several Spirit Lines (Ley lines) but that the Spirit Lines coming into the Manitou Stone where marked with stones; creating a circle of stones, or spokes around the centerpiece Manitou Stone.

The Pictures below show this formation from a variety of viewpoints.

Looking toward the Upright Stone. Notice moss covered stone and rod marking the Spirit Line.

Looking away from the Manitou Stone. Nice Green orbs. Many of my pictures of this charged area had orbs in them.

The Spokes. Notice the stone to the left of Pepper (white dog) marking a Spirit Line. The stone Jaeda is sitting on marks another Spoke, or Spirit Line. The rod is on another Spoke, and there is a stone in front of it on the upper center. My backpacks on another Spoke, I don't remember if it is on a stone.

Sad to see a sacred place desecrated with the intention of violence (hunting. stalking, killing) and debris (shotgun shell.) Remember Native Americans would pray and give thanks after taking an animal to balance the act of violence.  I picked up the shell and said a little prayer to counteract the negativity.
